Program stops responding when trying to save

Hi,

I just recently got a new laptop with Windows 7.

I recently re-installed Version 1 and the support files.

I can enter the simulator no problem, load an existing file, create a new league everything is good. The problem occurs when I'm trying to save. The program stops responding and doesn't save anything.

Is there any solution or anything that can be done? I've tried saving with Save or Save As. and neither works.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.

It's mean a while since I saw this problem but I remember correctly, it's cause my the Support Files. Did you installed them?

yes, I did install the support files. The first one on top for Version 1 Support Files to Run the STHS Version 1 - Automatic Installation :

Did you install them by right-clicking and Run As Administrator?

I download from the site. Both the simulator and support files.

Then I extract the simulator.


Once I extract the file and file area, I right click run as administrator and get the follwoing.

Component 'Comdlg32.ocx' or one fo its dependencies not correctly registered: afile is missing or invalid.

When I save, it' saves the .sh1 Then freezes and doesn't save anything else?
