Career Stats Program and FHL
My league ran several FHL seasons before moving to the STHS.
Is there any way to import FHL seasons into the STHS Career STats?

Not yet. I might make one at some points.

Is there a format that I can use to make past season's work?
What files are required? The rules page doesn't specify what files are required for each year.

It’s actually very complex. There a couple of FHL CareerStat software out there with different output and the FHL files themselves are not pretty to look at. The problem is to extra the data, not to format in XML files used by the STHS Career Stat program.

Re: Career Stats Program and FHL
I have career stats from the 6 FHL seasons, and then new STHS seasons. I'd like to be able to combine. It does not have to be a FHL output though... if I would put together a csv file or something to import, then we could import from anything into STHS career stats.
Something to consider... rather than a FHL-specific import, a generic csv import.

Right now, I'm considering a program where user will manually enter the players FHL stat that would created a XML files that STHS Career Stat need.

perfect
Re: Career Stats Program and FHL
I just want to put my support behind this idea. I've got a number of FHL season prior to now using STHS and I would love to be able to see a careerstats for the entire league history.
I do hope that you move forward with this Simon, I know I would at least be very grateful for it!

That message sliped by me, so I'd like to show support for this idea as well.
We have 11 FHL seasons all neatly set into the "Statistiques Carrière 2k6" program, which gives a superb HTML presentation.
Oh, how much I wish STHS's output would look the same (and/or get enough coding knowledge to do it myself)...
So, if at least we could manually write stuff so at least my records wouldn't be split in two (FHL years, STHS years), that's 100% supported by me.

What do you mean exactly by "manually enter the players FHL Stats"? I hope I wouldn't have to retype everything because 15 FHL seasons would be a major pain in the ass...lolSimonT wrote:Right now, I'm considering a program where user will manually enter the players FHL stat that would created a XML files that STHS Career Stat need.
Est-ce que tu peux donner une courte explication en français de ce que tu avais comme idée de projet Simon?

Yeah, that's what I mean. i'm willing to do the work to get it all meshed together. I can import a lot of it into excel out of FHL's Career Stats.
Whatever makes it easy, so it can get done, I would like to explore.

I gave up.
It’s simply too long to code and verify every input a user can made.
