Ma saison est terminée et je vais faire mon repêchage junior dans 2 semaines et ensuite les joueurs autonomes. J'aimerais savoir si ça va changer de quoi le moment où je vais switcher de la V1 à la V2 et si il y a un moment qui est recommandé pour faire le switch?

Je voulais surtout savoir si en switchant de la V1 à la V2, les informations des joueurs (années de contrats, salaires) allaient rester les mêmes pour qu'on puisse retrouver facilement les joueurs autonomes dans les fichiers CSV?

If the translation is correct then you said "The best time is after your amateur draft but before your free agents".
But if draft picks are used for compensation in free agency, then how can you do do your draft before your free agents?
Even in the manual it states "The 'v1export' can only be run in off-season mode after your entry draft is finished", but I can't get to that point if we don't do free agents first

In the NHL, the entry draft is in June and the Free Agent is in July.

Ok thanks! Another quick question.....when you import from V1 to V2, how are ratings determined for a category that doesn't exist in V1 like penalty shot rating?

We are about to convert from V1 to V2. All of our draft picks are entered manually. We do not use the utility to import picks in the sim. We just start the draft to generate a draft order and then the picks are dumped when our new season begins.

Can we start the conversion after we "start the draft" or does the draft need to be "complete" first?

Your draft need to be complete before exporting to V2.

I wanted to know if it is possible to import from V1 to V2 at this point.....

We just played the last game of the finals and the cup has been won. I have not done anything else like select start new season, the last game has been played and that is all.

I know you previously said that the entry draft should be completed first, but without V1 ratings to do our free agency we can't get to the entry draft, as we do our free agency first so draft picks can then be used in the draft if they were awarded as free agency compensation.

Since the only two sets of ratings available for V1 are pretty whacked there is no way we can do free agency in V1, get the draft completed and then then import to V2 as suggested. So I was hoping there was a way I could import to V2 (from where my V1 league currently stands now), use the new V2 ratings for free agency and then do the draft.

1) Start your Off-Season.
2) Output the Entry Draft Ouptput and it keep it a very safe space.
3) Select the "Skip Entry Draft" function.
4) Migrate to V2.
5) In v2, do a manual Entry Draft using your output used step 1.

I can't get to step 3. When I go to Options #2 Tab the "Skip Entry Draft" box is greyed out.

How about I take this approach.....

1) Start Off-season
2) Run entry draft order and output
3) Close program and DON'T save
4) Re-open program and start Off-Season
5) Enable "Skip Entry Draft Function" on Option #2 Tab
6) Migrate to V2
7) Do a manual entry draft using the output from step 2

Would that work? It seems like it's the same approach.

Your approch is correct. Mine was flas because I forgot that the box would be gray once you start your entry draft to output the page.

Now that I have migrated successfully to V2 I just want to make sure it is ok to UNCHECK "skip entry draft"?
