Retirements

I don't use the retirement based on age in my league. Once a player retires I will remove them manually. I can't seem to find a way to do this. Can someone help me out on this?

Select Erase
Are you sure you want to erase player: Yes

If player is currently on a team it will ask if you want to release that player: Yes
Is player retiring: Yes

If player is not currently on a team:
Are you sure you want to erase player: Yes
Does not ask if retiring

After I completed the retirement process and uploaded to the portal, the retired players show up on the UFA list under the transaction tab.

You then need to go to portal go to outdated players and click retire

Much safer just to change the retire value from "0" to "1" in phpMyAdmin. Most of the time, clicking retire on that page just permanently deletes the player and all of his stats.
