While we talking about this, can someone point me to what will happen during a penalty? From what I understand, it’ll be a 4 vs 3 but what happen when the players return on ice? It’ll be a 4 vs 4 until next “break”?

yes it is 4 on 3 or 5 on 3 if more then one penalty is taken. And 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5 when penalties expires during the action.

Also... please let us choose players to send on ice in a different window, PK3 is for penalty killing, not scoring goals in OT i want to be able to place 3 forwards or 3 defensemen if I want to. Thanks.

I’m wondering what is the best way to create line for 3 vs 3. It’s not as simple as PK3 where it’s 1 forward and 2 defenseman’s for 2 minutes or less. It’s 3 vs 3 for 5 minutes and can be any players of 3 players together: 2 Forward + 1 Defense; 2 Defense + 1 Forward or maybe even 3 Forward.

I’m not sure what I wrote in the code. Should I simply make a list of 8 forwards and 4 defenses and let the coach match them on the fly (Like the Extra Forward / Extra-Defense) or make a regular 2 lines setup like PK3?

I don't like the sound of "on the fly" since you want your best players on the ice, I don't want my def #4 playing more then my def #1 because of the "on the fly" factor.

One option I'll put in is to remove rating penalties if players don't play at their position in 3 vs 3. I like the 8-4 setup but I don't want to have random coach decision of who goes on the ice. Best players in this list should go. And what about the 1.5 engine with this new option since their is no fatigue at all for players in the match?

Well, on the fly for me means this.

If you have 8 players, if player #1 is not fatigue, he send to play, If not, move to player #2 in the list and on and on. Same for defenseman.

It's basically the same concept that Extra Forward. If the first one is too tired to be play, the second one take the spot.

Ok what about engine 1.5 and this new option where extra players are not used at all? does this mean it will be the same 3 players for 5 minutes ?
