More fights, PIMs?

To all who have alpha/beta tested V2.0, or are currently using it for Simon...


Anyone else noticed if fights have suddenly went up?

I didn't change a single simulation setting and yet, I have the same number of goals, shots, etc. (baring a few little differences... minor, really). BUT!!! Wow!!! I averaged a fight per two games, maybe from 50% to 66% of my games. Now, I have 4-5 fights per game!!!

Because of that, my PIMs average are through the roof and we're 25% into the season and my single-season records of PIMs have almost already been beaten.

I even had a 251 PIM game.

Do you have rivalry?

I have found fights and penalties were WAY up. I had R3 rivalries, but it was also other games that had crazy fights and penalties. I lowered both fights and penalties a bit and it seemed to help.

No rivalry at all.


I reduced fights by 10 (from 35 to 25) and yet had 8 fights in my team's game today. I checked other games and there were still 4-5 to 6-7 fights per game again.

My answer would probably to lower your play DI and FG. The formula change completly in V2.

Our league is very even with the fight only the one with Rivalry wich i think is normal and the setting is at 25 and seem to work well

I have fights set to 25 and penalties set to 35. I have found this is working quite well. Obviously rivalry games will be higher. I have yet to mess with the rivalry options. I left them set to default of R3.

What I noticed is that as soon as a guy has 50+ in FG, he automatically gets into fights.

Guys with 51-52 FG have had from 6 to 10 fights already... in 27 games!!

I'm not even talking about guys with 65 FG...



This is insane. How much should I reduce these ratings?
