Huh...why does Hal Gill of all people come out of the new ratings with an 83 PS?! Are we doing something wrong? First time with version 2.

I am also seeing situations where veterans have way lower EX than kids. Like Lidstrom is a 59 EX and Kopitar a 71.

Anyone else have these issues?

EDIT: As a comparison, the EX in the version 1 ratings were fine (we uploaded them into our sim to see).

My mistake on the V2. I went off an old sheet of instructions that had the EX and PS columns in the wrong order. So, basically all the EX and PS for the skaters were off. So it is Hal Gil with high EX and not PS and Kopitar with the better PS than Lidstrom.

Another one I am wondering about if there was a mixup...the FG rating.

Example: tiny Mike Comrie (70 FG), yet Chara is (61 FG)?

1. Simon rocks on the updates. I keep sending him files at 12 or 1 in the morning and he keeps updating early the next morning.

2. Formulas. I did tweak what I did for FG, EX, and LD. Later this weekend, I'll give more of a write up. For the FG I used 70% frequency of fights, 20% DI rating (basically PIM's), and 10% ST rating. The reason Comrie ended up rating higher on fights is he had 2 fighting majors in just 21 games, while Chara had 1 fighting major in 81 games played. Chara's PIM's and size helped close the gap, but in 2010/11 in the NHL Comrie fought more in 1/4 as many games played.
