Problem with players.csv file

Post by parise »

Hello,

We are having an issue with the player contracts in the players.csv file not matching what is shown in the client. For example... Zach Parise had a 2 year contract at $3,125,000 per season in 2010-2011. In 2011-2012 he has 1 year remaining on his deal, which is correct in the client, but in the players.csv file it still says 2 years remaining. This is causing problems with the players finance sections in the portal.

Est-tu 100% sûr que ton fichier CSV est à date? Si tu l'efface et tu recrée tes fichiers CSV, est-ce qu'il y les bonnes données? Est-ce que le fichier XML est correct?

The file should be up to date, but I will verify tonight when I get home.

I will also try deleting it and recreating.

Thanks.

Hey Simon,

I am using the up to date file.

Using my Parise example, it is saying 1 year remaining, with a contract amount of 3125000 for year 1 and 2.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Send me your league file by email but I'm 99% sure I'll get the same number in the HTML and CSV.

Quick question.

Did you simulate a full season of V2 and start your season 2 in the STHS V2.

I understand correctly, in the CSV and XML, the CSV show 1 year as contract but the salary for year 1 and 2?

If both answer are yes, I think you got this bug : http://sths.simont.info/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7735

Yes, you understood correctly. When I open the player's page in the simulator the contract is shown as it should be, but in the players.csv file it is wrong, for example 1 year as contract, but a salary for year 1 and 2 (just as you said).

It seems my issue is slightly different from myRPHA.com's issue, but if you think it could be part of the same bug then I will wait for the next patch.

Also, I can email you our league file tonight when I get home.

Thanks.

Well, it depend of you.

I program in a manual command to fix your issue for the next build but I'll not happen before November. If you cannot wait until then, send me your league file and I'll fix it on my computer.

Ok, nice. I was thinking I would have to fix them all manually.

We just started season 2, so we can wait until November.

Thank you!

In the 2.0.1, the command is "Fix Contract vs Salaries".

P.S. I'm moving this topic to the question v2.
