Can someone explain something for me? Looking at the team csv file, what is the difference between "puck time in a zone" and "puck time controlling in a zone"? Is it as simple as possession? What do those categories mean and how do they translate into a statistic? Is the value reported in "seconds", "minutes"?
Once that is answered, I have a second part to the question. Having played the fist game of our preseason, I have a handful of teams that did not play on the first day, but have numbers in the "puck time DF zone" and "puck time controlling DF zone" categories. How is that even possible? Those teams have zeros in every other category in that csv except those two?
Any input would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Pro Team csv question
puck time in a zone = Sim doesn't care who control the puck
puck time controlling in a zone = when own team control the puck in this zone.
Can you send me your league file so I can reoutput the CSV so double-check this issue?

Thanks Simon,
File is sent, good luck. So is that number generated in "seconds" or "minutes"?

Re: Pro Team csv question
It's a bug where the data was not correctly erased after you simulate your pre-season (Or last season). I'll fix in 2.0.3.
It's generated in seconds.

Re: Pro Team csv question
OK, thanks Simon.
So if I understand correctly then, after he bug is fixed...
when not controlling the puck, the other categories of (PT in NT), (PK in DF) and (PT in OF) zones should all add up to 3600 seconds in a standard 60 minute game. Is that correct?
The "controlling" categories are just the times a certain team has the puck.

Yes, puck time in a zone should add up to 3600 total.
The "controlling" categories are just the times a team has the puck. (The team being the own who was the data).
