I have a possible explanation. The Red Wing is playing with 9 forward only (Dwight King, Jemery Colliton and Owan Holan barely play) ALL game long. Players were always fatigue and always dump puck in Flames zone.

P.S. I suggest you read this also : http://sths.simont.info/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=8055

In v1 that never made a difference, I remember always having #2 and #4 lines the same. I would say this has something to do with simulator settings - likely the shots and goals slider are set too low.

this is pretty poor explanation, unless you can find any game in NHL history similar to this one, I would say even in NHL can be players fatigue :)

anyway, check the IT of forwards and let me know which one is overloaded...

I do not thing this is the solution as average shots for Red Wings are 26SF/30SA and goals 2.9GF/3.2GA which seems to be pretty realistic

Fatigue in V20 is sometime very weird. I try to fix that in V21.

I've got one for you

It happens once in a while in farm. I can get 10-20 games OK, suddenly there is one like this

Honnestly, I don't have a clue except I see a lot of puck is dumped.

Goals are at 40 and shots at 57. Scores are realistics fot mosts of the games with it. If I take a look at saturday's games, I have games with over 40 shots by both teams and a game with 9 ans 19 shots. So I don't think I could put the shots higher because it would affect mosts games that are OK

Starfrit, if you test the 2.1 engine, do you get some weird result there too or not?

too many variables to know for sure... ie: what about player ratings?

Mine: goals is 55, shots 55 which seems to work well with NAIHL ratings.

Last week it seems the lowest shot total I get in one game was 19&25 while the max # of total shots with both teams tends to be up to 70. I think for the games I've been seeing, things are pretty consistent.
