Skip Entry Draft

I want to skip the entry draft this season only BUT want the teams to retain their picks as they currently have them. Will checking the "SKIP ENTRY DRAFT" box in the league allow this to happen? Or will I end up losing the picks? Anyone with any insight into doing this, I would appreciate the info. Thanks.

Is there any way to not do the draft, but not lose the picks?
