updating prospects with stats

How do I add new prospects with stats into the game's database? I read the manual and i am not sure where do to this each season. I looked in the offseason area where I thought it might be, but there you can only add prospects without stats. I tried updating through the player update but I was unable as it didn't like that I had contract and salary set at 0. These were created by the STHS roster utility so I am unsure why the update will not work. I am only using the demo but I asked someone who has version 2 of the sim and he was able to load prospects as well. Is there somewhere else I must look?

You need to recreate them using a RatingPack (See STHS V2 Utility) or enter them manually in Edit Players.

Simon as I said i used a rating pack but I am unsure where to add them in as in the update area all I get are faults.

Option - Off-Season - Update Ratings or Option - Update Rating.

Thank you but as I said in the first post it will not work with the rating pack. I always get errors when using the update feature. in the log file it says that the salary field is wrong. I have it set at 0. I am not the only one finding this problem.

What is your league minimum salary?

300k I think but as these are new prospects i feel you should be able to add them WITHOUT a salary to start with.

This is a test league as you know. So I would rather not have to input salary as that is it is in real life.

If the player you are trying to import have a lower salary that your league minimum salary, they will not import.

looks like I will need to add another option into the player creator then. Minimum salary!!!
