Players with an Apostrophe in their last name - Web Portal

Am using GoDaddy as my Web host and have always had a problem with players with an Apostrophe in their last name, O'Sullivan, O'Donnell functioning in all versions of the Web Portal.
I have tried different settings but nothing seems tom work.
I have seen other leagues out there and wondering what they have done to get it work.

What settings do i need to change in my server ?

To my knowledge and being a GoDaddy users, you must change your database UTF-8.

MySQL charset: UTF-8 Unicode (utf8)

Should i change it to UTF8_Bin or something else ?

Oh then I have no clue.

Have tried many things and i still have the same problem.

Anyone else using GoDaddy and can point me in the right direction.
