After games were done simulating today and before the simulator was done outputing HTML, I got a big I/O Exception message about not being able to write to a file.\
But once I dismissed the exception message, everything finished fine and the sim seemed ok. I uploaded results and they all look fine. I saved the league upon exiting the sim.
Five minutes later I wanted to change my lines so I tried to start up the sim again, but all I get is an error message: "Corrupted File." and when I hit "ok" it just goes away and the sim doesn't start up.
I tried using a backup league file from yesterday, and also from two days ago. I didn't help. I tried re-downloading the sim from the website. That didn't help.
What other hidden file does it need to read before starting up?

Re: Unable to Run Simulator: ERROR "Corrupted File"
Whoa. I just successfully started the sim. I guess maybe I needed a reboot?
Yesterday night, the error was simply "Corrupted file." Nothing would load beyond that. As described above, I tried everything I could thing of, but it just wouldn't start up.

Re: Unable to Run Simulator: ERROR "Corrupted File"
I do my sim in the evening Eastern time, so I won't know for sure until tonight, but it looks normal now... Thanks for the quick replies, Simon.

Exception messages after games are simmed
It did it again.
After all the games are simmed, but before the output is done, I get I/O exceptions trying to write to some dll in the Temp folder. This board doesn't allow me to attach images, but I took screenshots. I think I have your email address, Simon - I'll send them to you.
p.s. this time, the simulator seems just fine. Not giving me the "Corrupt File" message.

Hi.
I merge your topic.
As I said by email, it's related to XML Output? Do you use the XML files?

Re: Unable to Run Simulator: ERROR "Corrupted File"
Yes, I do use XML output.
Today I got the same "Corrupted file" error when I tried to load the sim. So I disabled Avast Virus protection and tried to start the sim again. It worked no problem. And no errors on the output.
Seems like the new version of Avast has some conflicts with STHS
