Registration issues after years of no problem

After years with no problems, out of the blue my FHL V2 has lost the registration information. No worries, I have my reg info... but it won't take the info. I get an error when I try to register the program again.

I was running a relatively recent version, but I get the error with the latest version as well. Now running 2.3.4.4.

What's up with that? Any thoughts?

Make sure the “Windows Management Instrumentation” service is running correctly on your computer.
Did you try to restart your computer?

I'll look into that WMI thing... I have rebooted several times though.

Now it just straight fails and suggests I contact STHS for help.

If you run this little software (http://sths.simont.info/Download/VolumeSerialNet.exe), does it work? Do you get any error or both textbot are filled with number?
