Re: Assign players to teams by CSV
Hi.
Can you send me your league file and CSV file so I can check it? Normally, I would said you have empty line at the end.

Re: Assign players to teams by CSV
Same exact error for me - I have literally a CSV file with Team Name, Player Name for 1218 players.
I'd also get the "609 Player(s) on 609 were not assigned to team!" prompt at times too. Except none of the players ended up on any teams at all.
CSV file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/b91b26pd4sxyo ... 2.csv?dl=0
League file:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k5seq56pza3pf ... e.str?dl=0
Please help.

Hi Beard.
The format is not correct, you have at the beginning and end of each file. You need to remove those.

Sorry - you said "you have at the beginning and end"...seems like you missed a word there. What was at the beginning and end I need to remove?
Thanks!!

Sorry, you have the " characters at the at the beginning and end of every ligne. This is causing your issue.

Do you have any idea how to get rid of them? I cleared formatting in the CSV file and saved it as a CSV...I don't see those " things anywhere.

Re: Assign players to teams by CSV
Holy crap - I actually found it!
This is a PAIN to have to do, but - if you're having issues using this "Assign Players to Teams by CSV" function, you really have to go deep to make sure the CSV is clear of these "quote marks".
(apparently saving a CSV with commas in a cell is a conundrum for Excel)...
The best way I found to do this was via the description at these links:
Enable Developer Mode for Excel:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/off ... n-us&ad=us
The Actual Process:
https://www.extendoffice.com/documents/ ... es.html#a2
Good luck!

Notepad in Windows, Find/Replace option.
Or in Excel, you need to save as "CSV UTF-8 (Comma Delimited)" type
