Assists still too low
I simmed many seasons with the new version of the sim and I stiill find assists are way too low. The leader in goals always has about the same goals as the leader in assists has assists.
I know I've said this a lot of times and you tried to fix it but it still isn't. I still think the problem is that more goals need to be scored on rebounds and deflections etc or from other situations where the puck just bounbces around in front of the net and there's a lot of passes.

What did I answer numerous times to you? Find out WHY in the play by play. Comments are like this one are plain useless to me.

What else do you want me to say? It's not just a small adjustment it's a big change.I still think the problem is that more goals need to be scored on rebounds and deflections etc or from other situations where the puck just bounbces around in front of the net and there's a lot of passes.
Make forwards cycle the puck more around the net, more passes in the offensive zone between forwards and then a pass to the front of the net which loeads to a goal.

This isn't about the difference between NHL and STHS. It's the difference between NHL, AHL, ECHL, OHL, QMJHL, WHL, NCAA, leagues in Europe, Midget AAA, Junior A and all other leagues of hockey you can think of and STHS.laving wrote:Somewere, we all have to see the difference between NHL and STHS!
I'm happy because there actually is a Play by Play in STHS...

What I wanted to say was... I don't think we can get everything in the simulator...Philippe27 wrote:This isn't about the difference between NHL and STHS. I don't think it's important at all. But yeah, we're all different... (=
I think it's important. In all the season I simmed, I never had an assists leader with higher numbers than the scoring leader in any built. This isn't happening in real life hockey

I don't care how goals are scored but what I described (more passing in the offensive zone and deflections etc) give more assists than other types of goals which is what I was suggesting to fix the problem.laving wrote:I understand what you're trying to say.
I agree that the assist leader should have higher number in assists, than the scoring leader has in goals.
But I don't think it is important how the goals are scored.
Once again, we're all different. (=

I juste made a test, with all players at 99 of PA
So if the PA rating doesn't do a thing in this particular case, it's not the commishe's fault if the assists are too low. There must be something else
