Active Waiver Length

Looking at the V2 history on the STHS website I saw this entry...

"Add a new option call “Waiver Deadline at % of Season” with the default value of 100%. This means the Waiver can now active after the trade deadline."


You then list this link (http://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-waiver-rules/) which provides the following explanation...

"Waivers last until the day after a teams playing season.

Ex: The Philadelphia Flyers are knocked out of the playoffs May 2nd, the waiver period for the Flyers would then end on May 3rd."


So why not just make a setting in the sim that waivers are active until a team is eliminated from the playoffs? Seems a lot simpler than setting a percent that applies to all teams.

I don't think the example fit the text. I understand the text as last game of the season the team played.

Still would be nice to still have the waiver active after the regular season. We are seeing old guys getting sent down to help FARM team

Hi.

With this option "Players Cannot Be Sent to Farm after Trade Deadline", you should have the behavior you want.

And if We want young guys to go FARM?

Then you uncheck the option, move them yourself as the commish and recheck the option.

Maybe this option helps, too:

"Pro Team Eliminated Cannot Send Players to Farm" - check this option to prevent GMs of teams that are eliminated from playoff contention in the pros from sending their players to the farm team. This option only apply when you are in the playoff.
