Does DI come into play on the volume of hits a player has?
A lot of times you will see two guys like this.
92CK 60DI 239 hits
90CK 85DI 154 hits
This is very common in my leagues.
Is there anything other then the CK that will play into hit volume?

Hi.
The players who get the hit is the player who has the puck at that moment.

Re: A New Question for SimonT
Sorry if I was not clear. This was about hits given. The guys with lower DI always seem to have more hits given. Even when the two guys are close with CK.

Re: A New Question for SimonT
Yes, that would be correct. Because hits are an event that create penalty, the formula doesn't only look at CK for checking but also DI (More at CK than DI).
