DVHL ratings for STHS 2008-2009
DVHL ratings for STHS 2008-2009
Gentlemen,
It is with great pleasure that I announce that I have now finished the DVHL ratings for all players. You can see the ratings at the following link:
http://www.dvhlsim.com/DVHL2009/DVHL2009-allplayers.zip
I did not remove the retired or inactive players in order to serve as many leagues as possible. I will, for my league, remove them soon.
If you take these ratings in order to update your league, make sure you do a back up before. Then, extract your players and compare the names with the csv file: DVHL2009-PlayersRatings.csv
Modify the file DVHL2009-PlayersRatings.csv to fit your league player names. You also need to update all your contracts and salaries.
I hope you like these ratings and I wish you a great season if you use them.
Regards,
Dmaster

Re: DVHL ratings for STHS 2008-2009
When I try to create a new league with these ratings I get 6- Overflow in cmdcreate as an error.
Another search shows this as a corrupt players file, is anyone else getting this with these new files?

You don't create a league with this file, The ratings are to update an existing league.
So you need to have all the players already on their rosters then run the ratings update and all should work fine.
I just updated 2 leagues with out any problems.

Re: DVHL ratings for STHS 2008-2009
ok, of the files on the downloads section, which one is best for starting a new league? the sh1 file?
And is it as simple as creating the league with that csv file, then going to player updates and choosing the dvhl2009 playersratings file? or is it players?

If your starting a new 30 Team NHL league, try these: http://sths.simont.info/DownloadFiles.p ... gs2008.zip
There is a default NHL league in there.
Once that is installed, then update the ratings using the DVHL2009 file.
Simple as that.

Hi simguy, Dmaster said:

If you take these ratings in order to update your league, make sure you do a back up before. Then, extract your players and compare the names with the csv file: DVHL2009-PlayersRatings.csv

you have you answer.

Re: DVHL ratings for STHS 2008-2009
thank you for your reply...i guess this is new and i'm still confused...
what do you mean by extract my players and compare?
and modify the playersratings.csv to fit my league player names...do oyu mean just put the correct players on the correct teams?
none of this means modify the actual csv file does it?

Only update the players first, not the coaches.simguy wrote:ok, i did that. ran the update and got this message

The error in the log file will tell you what the problems is with the players.
Could be player sin the database are making less or more than the cap numbers from the sim.
