Fatigue and off days

I'm coming from FHL, where off days (days where other teams play, but you do not) do not affect a player's condition. There was therefore no reason to not have an extremely condensed schedule and play nearly every day.

In V2 of STHS, do players recover conditioning on off days, or only rest days (when you assign the league a rest day). This has a major impact on my schedule making.

In the STHS, if your team is not playing 1 day, it's consider a rest day for this team only and the condition improved as much as you put in the option.

I'm in the playoffs for my first V1 season and I have a commish complaining that he since he swept his first round opponent, his players have not gained any CD points. The other series have gone to 6 or 7 games. Is this expected behaviour in V1?

No. His players will get CD point like all the others teams.
