Problems with draft picks

Hi,

I am the president of a hockey retro league using STHS version 2.

I have a problem with draft picks for 6 of my 21 teams.

Here is the problem:

Our first season is about to begin (we are ending the pre-season in 2 days) and it is set in 85-86.

The problem with those 6 teams is that they still have draft picks from '85 and don't have access to the picks in '90 since we only see picks from 5 years in advance.

How can I fix this so that all those 6 teams have the same picks as the other 15 teams ?

Did you check the manual for the command to create and erase pick?

I tried these 2 functions and Erase Draft Pick didn't work.

As far as Create Draft Pick, it created a draft pick for the year 3974 instead of the year 1990.

I'm not sure I understand where the mistake was made .... I never typed 3974 so .....

My problem is that Year 1 draft picks are supposed to be 1986 but these 6 teams are 1985 ...

How can I push them back a year ?

Did you read the manual about it? The year value is the "internal" league year. Not the output league year.

I understand my mistake for the year 3974 and have corrected it accordingly, thank you on that issue.

My problem is that these teams will always be a year behind the rest of the league.

What I mean by that, is that draft picks in Output will always show that they have draft picks for the year 2 to 6 and 1 to 5 for the other teams.

Is there a way to correct that ?

I just added a year 6 for a team but that year 1 is a bugger because I can't delete it.

Does that mean that those teams will always have to neglect the year 1 in their output ?
