Farm Roster Error Message - Follow Up

I know the message was corrected (http://sths.simont.info/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=7951) however I am having an issue with the functionality of it.

I am in a league that does not have full rosters mandatory. Which is fine except that I cannot go ahead with 18 forwards even though I have them. I get the "17-player max" message. The solution you mentioned previously was to select Full Farm for my team. While that does allow me to have my 18 forwards, it gives me an error because I only have 1 goalie (Full Farm requires 2). Not sure if that qualifies as a bug, but I can't see a solution for that situation (short of signing a UFA goalie or trading for one)...

It's not qualifies as bug. It's a normal behavior. You need to sign a UFA goalies or trade for one or keep one your forward as a scratches.
