Defenseman scoring too high

Hi,

I'm currently testing the engine before our third season. We are using V2 but with Engine 1.0. Last year, defenseman scoring was quite high, so I reduced PA and SC for most defenseman during the rerates.

Still, when I do test seasons, the scoring for the D is even higher than last year! Almost every D get 40 points, all team leaders are D...

Did something changed in the last updates of v.2 that could have changed the engine 1 results?

You are talking about engine 1.1? It's the same engine since version 1.1 was release no February 2008.

I'm really baffled by the results I had thus far in my testing for the upcoming season. Is there any other ratings, beside PA and SC, that could have that type of influence on their scoring that I could've have missed?

Are you sure you are testing with the engine 1.1 in your option?

1.1 and 1.5, yes.

Who did you migrate your rating from V1 to V2?

Il n'y a pas eu de migration.

On a débuté la saison 1 avec les rosters SIMHL, engin 2.0.
À la saison 2, après un re-rate du STHS, nous avons passé à l'engin 1.1 à la demande de certains DGs.
Pour la saison 3, je croyais utiliser le même engin. D'autres tests étaient nécessaires parce que les recotes ont été faites selon une charte que j'ai créé. (J'avais entre autre baissé le SC et le PA des défenseurs pour réduire un peu les points).

Ah, je pensais que tu comparais l'engin 1.1 de la version 1 du STHS avec l'engin 1.1 de la version 2 du STHS (Qui est la même). Si je me rappel, ça toujours été un problème dans la version 1.1 le niveau de scoring des défenseurs.

J'avais remarqué l'an passé, mais c'était pas au point qu'on a en ce moment.

Oh well. On va faire un retour à l'engin 2 je crois bien.
