Realistic Settings

Post by ICHL Commish »

As our league starts a new preseason, we are looking at moving from engine 2.0 to 2.1 In Engine 2.0, our settings are:

40-2-15-33-15-20-15-33-35-30

The first day trial with 2.1, scoring was insane, farm teams scoring 49, 40, and 43 goals, pro teams scoring 13-15-17, no one under 5 goals.

We don't want trap hockey, but a 2-1 game isn't a problem either.

Is there a ratio or suggestions for settings in the 2.1 engine? Why is the scoring SOOO much higher in 2.1 over 2?

The way only to find out is to test it out with the Automatic Test option.

I set mine down to 10 for goals and scores were all mainly 9-6. Yikes.

Id like to upgrade to it, but can't when scores are like that.
Thanks

I think you/we would have to adjust our players as well. Might look at that down the road.. reduce SC by 5 or 10 points, etc. Stuff like that.
