RC 0.9.5 - Schedule

I wanted to make a schedule, and put in this data:

(32 teams, 4 divisions with 8 teams)

Minimum games vs own DIV: 4
Minimum games vs own CONF: 2
Minimum games vs other CONF: 2

(That makes it 76 games)

Target games per day: 10
Variance for target games per day: 2
Max consecutive home games: 5
Max consecutive away games: 5


Then "Make schedule".


Now it seems like every team plays against the teams in the same DIV the first 15 days (not exact).

Is it not supposed to be a little more spread out?

And no, I don't want to make it manually, that will take days...

It's pure random. If you can run it another time, you should get a different schedule.

I tried to make a new Schedule, and the same thin happened again. We take "MONTREAL" as an example:

In the first 15 games, they play 14 games against teams from their division.

"SANJOSE" plays their first 14 games against teams from their own division.
"DETROIT" plays their first 13 games against teams from their own division.

It's the same for every team.


Can you make it "more random"? (=

Ah yes, I see why we get this behavior. After I pick the home team by checking who has the highest home game remaining, I was checking who had the highest visitor game remaining that could play against this team. Because your play more game against your own division, those game where choose. I had a fix for 0.9.6. Tell me about it. Thank you.

Should I try with 0.9.6 when you release that, and report back if it's working?
