V2-0.9.7.7 - Prospect Import

Post by myRPHA.com »

Please bear with me, I am new to this software but I am learning quickly. I have read the forums and manuals, but can't quite find the clarification I need.

I am running a pro league with a full farm league. I also am running an independent Junior league as well. Each year, we draft from our junior league. How do I import the players from the junior league to the pro league for the draft? In FHL, I could use an add-on program to "merge" two drs player database files.

So I need two questions answered I guess.

1. How do I export draft eligible players from one league?
Is it Bonus/Output Ratings CSV? I tried that and it says it's outputted to the CSVXML directory, but it does not create a file.

2. How do I import that list of players into a current league?
Is it Bonus/Prospect Import By CSV?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

1. Export them using the Output Rating CSV. If you think it’s not export them, double-check your CSVXML Folder Option.
2. Create a rating pack with your CSV File.
3. Upload your rating pack in the STHS.
4. Use the Auto-Activate Prospect option to activate the new players in the team who draft them.

Excellent! If I understand your instructions correctly...

1- Got it! I found out what was wrong and found the files.
2- I assume to create the rating pack, I use the STHS Utility software right?
3- How exactly do I upload the new pack into my pro league? Is it "League/Update Ratings"? I'm guessing here.
4- Got it! I know how to do this step.

So if I am reading this right, these steps will do the same thing as the "merge drs" option in FHLStuff used to do, plus step 4 will even assign them to teams?

Again, thanks for your help and patience Simon. This software will revolutionize our league that has been pretty much FHL based since 1998.

You check the CSVInput.log, correct the error and re-import your CSV.
