Corey ejected from the game and suspended in the boxscore, but on the roster after the game he has no suspension showing.

Also trying to figure out how Perry got 27 minutes on that play ?
5 For Fighting
2 for Instagator
10 Minute game misconduct

That makes 17 minutes, Where do the other 10 come from ?

27 minutes is correct, there is 2 times 10 minutes even if the output is not clear

instigator = minor 2 minutes + 10 minutes misconduct
the agressor penalty gives an additional 10 minutes game misconduct


I'm not sure the agressor penalty automatically suspends you in the NHL...

The aggressor penalty doesn't automatically suspend you in the NHL unless it happens in the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period. The chance to actually get a suspension in between 10% and 20% depending in your penalty slider.

But if your going to show it in the boxscore that a player gets suspended, then they should be suspended. I have another example of this:
Doug Janik (SYR) for instigated a fight (Minor) at 9:35, Doug Janik (SYR) for instigated and being the aggresor in a fight (10 Minutes Game Misconduct & Suspension).
Jakin ends up not being suspended after the game.

If the suspension is based on a % after the game is played and on what we have a slider set to then maybe in the boxscore the word suspension should be change to something else as some GM's are being confused. To them if it says suspension in the boxscore they want to see that player suspended.
(maybe change the word suspension to- League review for further disciplinary action, or something like that.)

And GM's are still asking how Janik got 27 minutes in the game ? (Similar to the Perry one listed above)

So that shows only 17 minutes, but he gets a total of 27 in the game.
The last penalty you have "for instigated and being the aggresor in a fight" - he gets the 10 minute / game misconduct & suspension.
It is still not clear where the other 10 minutes come from. A game misconduct does not add another 10 minutes, he is just removed from the game.

Per the NHL rules:
A player who is deemed to be both the instigator and aggressor of an altercation shall be assessed an instigating minor penalty, a major penalty for fighting, a ten-minute misconduct (instigator) and a game misconduct penalty (aggressor).
So that makes 17 minutes right there.
In Jankis case, he got the 2 for minor for instigating, major for fighting and the 10 minute misconduct. that makes 17 minutes, There is no need for an extra 10 for the game misconduct (Unless someone can show me in the NHL rules that states a Game misconduct includes 10 more PIM).

Le mot Suspension (a mon avis) devrais meme pas etre la... Sa devrait etre 2 + 5 + 10 = 17 Minutes + le joueurs est plus de la partie. Le mot suspension est (comme tu mentionne) seulement applicable dans les 5 dernieres minutes. Donc pourquoi le 10 Minutes Game Suspension.. Je veux juste comprendre?
