What is the STHS?

STHS, also known as SimonT Hockey Simulator, is a program that gives you the ability to simulate hockey games along with other people from all over the world. Through STHS you can simulate fully detailed games, seasons and create leagues of varying sizes. STHS Client is a free program that is used along with STHS in order to have people in your league manage their team. STHS is being used by online hockey leagues from all over the world including: Canada, the United States, Sweden, France, Iceland, the Czech Republic, Russia, and Japan.

All of the player in STHS are given ratings based on their abilities in 14 different categories (checking, discipline, skating, puck handling, passing, scoring, defense, leadership, etc.) while goalies are rated in 12 different categories (size, agility, hand speed, reaction time, etc.). While STHS leagues are usually based on NHL players, the SimonT Hockey Simulator enables you to create random players and give them make believe player ratings.

Once you've got your ratings ready, it's easy to import them into the simulator and then begin creating your league! A lot of the time Commissioners mirror their league's after the National Hockey League but with STHS the decisions are up to you! Create fantasy teams, add teams, remove teams, the possibilities are endless!
